Had a great time celebrating my birthday. The hubs took me out to dinner at Roy's and then to see The Hobbit. It was wonderful!

Christmas in California

We spent our first Christmas in California. We managed to fit a tree into our home and had fun decorating.

Fun Run

The boy made it home yesterday and today is up early for the DMSEF Fun Run.

6th Grade Camp - December 3, 2012

The boy left for his weeklong stay at 6th grade camp. The class visited Camp Marston in the mountains of Julian, CA. He had a great time hiking, rock climbing and canoeing. Thankfully he did not come home sick, just smelly and tired.

Jingle Ball - December 1, 2012

The girl and i took a weekend trip to Los Angeles to go to Jingle Ball. We got there early, checked into our hotel and then went to hang out at the Jingle Ball Village. The concert was great, One Republic, Ne Yo, Jonas Brothers, Elli Goulding and Taylor Swift.

Day 5

Same today, went to the beach early. Unfortunately got too much sun and had to walk to walgreens to buy aloe. Had lunch near the beach, aranitas con pulpo. So good. Went back to the hotel and visited the pool for a few hours. After everyone showered the kids did not feel like walking so we ate at outback in the hotel. Tomorrow we are walking for dinner.
